These terms apply when you use this website or purchase a Finder's Book digital product from The Family Clarity Co. They are meant to make the practical boundaries clear.
Who we are
The Family Clarity Co. is the publisher of The Finder's Book — The Family Clarity System™, created by Joanne Godfrey and Michael David Warren Jr. Contact info@familyfindersbook.com with questions about these terms.
What the product is
The Finder's Book is a structured personal-record organizer supplied as digital files. It helps you record directions, trusted contacts, and the locations of important documents. It is not a will, trust, contract, power of attorney, advance directive, password manager, or substitute for legal, medical, financial, tax, cybersecurity, or other professional advice.
Purchases, prices, and delivery
Checkout, payment processing, receipts, and file delivery are provided by Payhip and its payment providers. The price and contents shown at checkout control the order you place. Products are delivered electronically after successful payment; there is no physical shipment unless a listing expressly says otherwise.
You are responsible for providing a working email address, keeping your receipt, downloading the files promptly, and checking that your device or PDF software meets the disclosed requirements. Contact support if a paid download is missing, inaccessible, corrupted, or materially different from its description.
Personal and household license
Unless a product listing or written agreement states otherwise, a purchase grants the named purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for personal and household record-keeping and to print reasonable copies for the household or households covered by the purchased edition.
You may not resell, redistribute, publicly post, upload to a shared library, sublicense, translate for distribution, remove ownership notices, or use the product as a client handout, lead magnet, course resource, institutional template, co-branded product, or white-label product. Advisors, employers, nonprofits, clinicians, attorneys, coaches, and other professional or institutional users need a separate written license.
Your responsibility for sensitive information
Completed copies may contain private personal information. Do not put passwords, PINs, recovery codes, safe combinations, full Social Security numbers, or other authentication secrets in the book. Decide what to include, protect completed files and printouts appropriately, keep credentials in a separate secure system, and share access only with people you trust.
Refunds and statutory rights
Digital purchases are subject to the Digital Product Refund Policy displayed before purchase. Nothing in these terms limits a consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the law requires a different result, that law controls.
Website and product accuracy
We work to keep the website, product descriptions, links, provider instructions, and files accurate. Laws, institutions, account settings, and third-party services can change. Verify time-sensitive provider instructions when you use them and consult an appropriately qualified professional when a decision depends on legal, medical, financial, tax, or security consequences.
Third-party services
The site links to or relies on services operated by others, including Payhip, MailerLite, Vercel, and Google Analytics. Their own terms and privacy practices apply to their services. A link does not transfer responsibility for their availability, security, or content to The Family Clarity Co.
Intellectual property
The website, product files, writing, design system, graphics, trade dress, and The Family Clarity System™ name are owned by or licensed to Joanne Godfrey and Michael David Warren Jr. Purchasing a product gives you the limited use license above; it does not transfer copyright, trademark, or other ownership.
Availability and changes
We may correct errors, improve files, change prices for future purchases, or update these terms. Changes do not remove rights already granted for a completed purchase. The effective date above shows the current version.
Liability boundary
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the website and digital organizer are provided for personal information organization without a promise that they will fit every situation or prevent every loss. We do not exclude liability that the law does not allow us to exclude. This section does not affect the refund commitments or mandatory consumer rights described above.
