Is it safe to write this down at all?

That depends entirely on what you write down, which is why the book is built as a pointer rather than a vault. It records which bank, not which password. Where the will is kept, not what it says. If the book is found by the wrong person, they learn that you bank somewhere and keep documents somewhere, not how to access either. Treat the completed book as private personal information and limit access to people you trust.

I have started organizers before and never finished them.

Is this a will, or does it replace legal documents?

No. It is a structured template for personal record-keeping. It is not a will, trust, contract, power of attorney, or advance directive, and it confers no authority over any account, property, or medical decision. The legal documents your family needs are the originals, executed and stored according to the requirements of your jurisdiction. This book helps someone find them.

Do I need an app, an account, or an internet connection?

No. You get PDF files. They work on your device, on paper, in a drawer, ten years from now, whether or not this company still exists. That is deliberate.

Can I print it, or is it screen-only?

Both versions are included in every edition. Some households will type and some will write by hand. A system nobody uses is not a system, so we did not make you choose.

What if it is not right for me?
