Step 1

Continuity Snapshot — 15 minutes.

Open the book to page 2. Set a timer for fifteen minutes. Fill in only what a tired person would need in the first hour: who to call first, who backs them up, and who looks after dependents or pets.

Four answers are enough. A half-finished Snapshot is already useful. The rest of the book can wait.

Step 2

The fridge card.

If your download includes the Emergency Fridge Card, print one page and put it where people already look. First-hour names and numbers only. No account credentials on the card.

Fridge card is included with Ultimate and Family Bundle. Essentials buyers: use page 2 as your posted snapshot until you upgrade.

Step 3

Name two people.

Write a first call and a backup. Spouse, adult child, sibling, friend, caregiver, or chosen family — the relationship matters less than the decision being yours.

These are the two people who should know the book exists. You will tell them in step 5.

Step 4

Point to where passwords live.

The Finder’s Book is a pointer, not a vault. It does not hold credentials. Write the name of the password manager or other secure system, and who has been told how to reach it. Never the master password, never a PIN, never a recovery code.

Which bank, not which password. Where the will is kept, not what it says. If the book is found by the wrong person, they should learn that a system exists — not how to open it.

Step 5

Tell those two people.

A finished book that nobody can find has solved nothing. Send or say this. Fill in the location before you copy it.

I wanted you to know I made a Finder's Book so there would be a map if something happened.

It does not hold passwords, PINs, or account numbers. It points to where those live, and to the people and records that matter.
